Looking for a fast and accurate way to check fluid cleanliness?

Safety & Technical Hydraulics Ltd are paving the way for the sector to certify fluid cleanliness with the recent introduction of their in-house automated filtered membrane analysis service. The mainstay of the service is the PAMAS FastPatch 2 GO system. The system uses advanced image and microscope automation techniques to provide rapid and accurate results which negates the human error factors normally associated with the older manual methods of microscope membrane analysis.

The system offers valuable project time-efficiency savings by providing accurate results in real-time and outputs data in clear, concise, user-defined end reports.

Safety & Technical Hydraulics Ltd is the first company in North East of Scotland to offer this time saving process and has already seen an increase in demand for the service since being adopted across the industry. One major North Sea oil and gas operator hailed the Aberdeen-based company and the PAMAS FastPatch 2 GO system as the “go-to” testing and certification procedure for its quality control analysis.

The highly-skilled team at Safety & Technical Hydraulics Ltd can use the PAMAS FastPatch 2 GO to analysis the cleanliness of fluids used for testing equipment such as Subsea Valve Assemblies, Umbilical’s or any fluid that requires analysis in conjunction with a flushing process.

The PAMAS FastPatch 2 GO system complies with ISO 4407 and can produce high quality images that laser counter methods cannot, helping to flag up potential issues with seal failure, metal contaminate, operator contaminate and other underlying problems that will assist in preventive maintenance.
